Apologies to all who have seen our printed flyers. We just found out from a lovely lady in Topeka that we’ve been printing the wrong dates on the flyers! While we will have bonus pre-retreat activities on Sunday, October 2 for full package attendees – the 2 day retreat starts on Monday the 3rd. Please feel free to share the corrected flyer far and wide. A fill-able PDF format flyer is available at our website.

2013 Retreat Canceled Tuesday, Sep 3 2013
Computer & Software and Events and Genealogy and Marketing and Updates alternative, biannual, Camp Director, campus, cancel, Cave Springs, Christian Camp, classes, contract, Doug McClain, event, Genealogy, Guest Services Specialist, Julie McClain, ranch house, reduce, restrict, retreat, Sky Ranch, Sky Ranch at Cave Springs, woods 9:48 am
Unfortunately, after booking to near capacity for our October Retreat, Sky Ranch at Cave Springs informed us our ranch house availability was reduced by at least 5 hours, due to a new group’s needs. This was unforeseen as our 2013 schedule mirrored 2011, and the completed SRCS contract did not address time frame. While still welcome on this Christian campus, alternatives would have drastically reduced the retreat experience.
We are sorry to announce that have found no comparable alternative and have canceled. We thank Julie McClain, Guest Services Specialist and Doug McClain, Camp Director for their efforts of August 28, 2013.
We have enjoyed our relationship with Cave Springs, since 2003, and everyone seems to have a wonderful time there. We wish all those attending SRCS during our originally scheduled dates the best.

July 15 Deadline for Retreat on the lake 2009 Monday, Jun 29 2009
Events and Updates annual, bi-annual, deadline, discount, economy, event, Genealogy, registration, retreat, writing 3:17 pm
Retreat on the lake 2009 registration deadline is fast approaching. If you have put off reserving your space until the last minute, now is the time. July 15, 2009 is when we will decide if the retreat is viable in the 2009 economy. Originally, this was the discount reservation date. However, if budgets can not be stretched to include discount registrations, we know most can not include the luxury of a full price retreat.
